Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead major IT and company-wide initiatives with sizable budgets and cross-functional teams.

You will create and maintain project plans, communicate with stakeholders, resolve conflicts, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery of the finished project. You will bridge IT and business, assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and PMI- or similar-certified project management training.
• 3+ years of IT and non-IT project management experience.
• Experience planning, leading, and motivating Agile project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, testing and implementation of complex projects.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource/communication/risk plans, and status reports.
• Manage project budget and create artifacts as required by the BAB methodology.
• Proactively engage stakeholders and work cross-functionally to solve problems.
• Bridge IT and business by assessing processes and delivering data-driven recommendations.
• Support the BAB PMO and refine project management standards and training.
