Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. seeks a Sr. IT Project Manager to lead technology projects delivering meaningful value for clients and end users. You will guide cross-functional teams through the SDLC, applying Agile practices, and ensuring alignment with client goals and outcomes.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets while building strong client relationships and mentoring junior staff. Base salary ranges from $115,000 to $150,000 with potential discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and delivering complex technology projects through the full SDLC.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies; ability to coach teams and adapt practices.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Jira or comparable project delivery tools.
• PM certifications such as PMP/CSM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects, focusing on client outcomes and value.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, UX, QA, DevOps, data, and product.
• Act as Agile expert coach to improve delivery and adapt practices per project.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, quality, and deliverables.
• Mentor early/mid-career staff in project management and Agile delivery.
