Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of technology initiatives that create value for clients and end users. You will guide cross-functional teams through the SDLC and apply Agile coaching, managing scope, schedule, budgets, risks, and client relationships.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to translate complex policy needs into practical software solutions for diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams through the full SDLC.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and coaching roles.
• Experience managing large-scale survey data collection with Salesforce, Qualtrics, and Forsta.
• Strong project and program management skills across scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, resources, and quality.
• Experience mentoring staff in Scrum/Agile principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across SDLC.
• Act as Agile expert, coach teams and leaders.
• Apply PM best practices for scope, schedule, budget, risks.
• Build strong client relationships and translate needs into actionable work.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships.
• Mentor project staff and promote agile delivery capabilities.
