Job summary

Vitesse Systems, LLC is seeking a Sr. IT Project Engineer to lead end-to-end IT infrastructure initiatives from networking to identity, endpoint management, and DR.

The role involves hands-on design, implementation, and testing of backup/DR, plus platform migrations with minimal disruption to users. You will coordinate with MSPs, vendors, and internal teams, drive documentation, and ensure compliance with security controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in a similar role (network/infrastructure or systems administration).
• Minimum 5 years in enterprise networking and endpoint management.
• Minimum 5 years in IT project management with proven end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end IT infrastructure projects across networking, identity, endpoint management, and backup/DR.
• Design, implement, test, and execute backup and disaster recovery solutions with hands-on exercises.
• Build out sites, network segments, and platform migrations with minimal user disruption.
• Coordinate with vendors, MSPs, and internal stakeholders on procurement and timelines.
• Produce documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials for sustainment.
