About DTMB: The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About the position: This position serves as senior level IT project coordinator for information technology projects. The senior project coordinator functions as a PMO resource to DTMB managers, supervisors, and staff that are involved in application maintenance and development.
This includes development, maintenance, and oversight of project schedules that are logical and resource driven. Maintains change control process, including a structure to manage and track changes in scope. Identifies project issues and risks and escalates to senior management as appropriate. Monitors project performance, reports status, and facilitates the creation of actions plans to promote adherence to project schedules.
Interacts with a variety of teams as needed to develop and maintain project schedules and related documents. Assists in information gathering, budget analysis, project estimating, and procurement. Provides assistance on special projects. Promotes compliance with the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE). May utilize Scrum methodology and practices.

The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week (subject to change).

Information Technology Project Coordinator P11/12
Possession of a bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of thefollowing: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications,networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project managementor mathematics.
Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Project Coordinator P11coordinating the implementation of IT technical tools in a system development effort to solve a businessneed.
Possession of an associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in computer science, dataprocessing, computer information, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computerprogramming, IT project management, or mathematics; and, two years of experience as an applicationprogrammer, computer operator, project coordinator (IT technical project), or information technologytechnician, or two years (4160 hours) of experience an an Information Technology Student Assistant,may be substituted for the education requirement.
OR
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and four years of experience asan application programmer, computer operator, IT project coordinator (IT technical project), orinformation technology technician, or four years (8,320 hours) of experience as an InformationTechnology Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.
This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
