Job summary

Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is seeking a DAFgiving Senior Manager - IT Program Management, based in Westlake, TX, Austin, TX, or Orlando, FL. You will lead portfolio management, program oversight, and governance for DAFgiving360 initiatives, coordinating with internal and external partners.

You will drive PMO development, roadmap alignment, and risk mitigation while enabling lean portfolio practices and effective stakeholder communication across the organization.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred.
• PMP certification.
• 10+ years’ experience in project management, preferably in financial services/non-profit.
• Strong project management and methodology skills; Agile, Six Sigma, RUP, etc.
• Strong relationship-building and partnerships skills; capable of leading others.
• Ability to mobilize and motivate cross-functional teams and manage direction.
• Self-starter who can multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels.
• Scaled Agile SAFe LPM certification is a plus.
• Experience managing large Agile cross-functional teams & resources is a plus.
• Budget & financial management experience is a plus.
• Product/technology delivery experience is a plus.
• Change management experience is a plus.
• Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with iKnow/SharePoint Administration.
• Experience with business process modeling tools (Visio, iGraphx).
• Experience with Smartsheet as a PM tool.
• Experience with outcomes-based delivery and mapping to key results.
• Experience with AI tools (Copilot, AI writer, Copilot facilitator).

Responsibilities

• Project Portfolio Management and PMO development.
• Define engagement model for DAFgiving360 PMO and Digital Solutions.
• Identify interdependencies and align projects accordingly.
• Manage key business & technology programs; define engagement models.
• Facilitate Portfolio Level reporting and roadmap view for in-flight efforts.
• Track resources and capacity; inform planning for new initiatives.
• Evolve Lean Portfolio Management within DAFgiving360.
• Governance and governance meetings input and support.
• Oversee portfolio governance and reporting; manage financial reporting.
• Manage program/portfolio life cycle and ensure timely delivery.
• Support internal project queue and reporting processes.
• Provide guidance to improve project processes.
• Assist with business process modeling and proposal development.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Ensure alignment with strategic priorities and risk mitigation.
• Communicate progress effectively to SMT and stakeholders.
• Support with PMO tools and training.
