Charles Schwab in Austin is seeking a Director, Marketing Technology Portfolio & Planning to lead the long-term strategy and integrated roadmap for marketing technology capabilities. You will partner with stakeholders across Retail, Advisor Services, Workplace, Technology, Data, and other groups to align demand and investment with enterprise priorities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in marketing technology or related strategic roles.
• Proven ability to develop multi-year roadmaps and business cases.
• Direct people leadership including hiring and performance management.
• Strong business acumen and translation of needs into requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with portfolio management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term strategy, integrated roadmap for Marketing Technology capabilities.
• Aggregates investment opportunities across Marketing and partners and facilitates prioritization.
• Lead cross-functional discovery, intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
• Act as point person for Marketing in cross-enterprise planning.
• Partner with Technology to optimize the marketing technology ecosystem.
• Translate complex business needs into clear decisions and execution plans.
• Establish governance routines to improve transparency and decision-making.
• Use data and metrics to evaluate capability performance and improve marketer experience.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
