Job summary

EPITEC is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager IT 4 for mostly remote work with on-site as needed in Peoria, Chicago, or Dallas. You will lead complex enterprise technology programs, partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams, and drive large-scale application and data migration initiatives.

The role emphasizes Agile program management, a strong technical background, and the ability to deliver across multiple teams in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in IS/CS or related field with 8+ years, or Master’s with 5+ years
• At least five years of Agile project or program management experience
• Experience managing large programs in enterprise environments
• Experience with data engineering teams on end-to-end app/data migrations
• Technical education or experience in development engineering mgmt
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Experience managing software projects in large matrixed orgs
• Familiarity with the application development lifecycle
• Direct collaboration with software developers and teams
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication across organizational levels
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional/global teams
• Must be local to Peoria/Chicago/Dallas or willing to relocate at personal expense
• Experience leading cross-organizational system testing teams
• Scrum Master certification
• Familiarity with manual/automated system testing
• AWS Cloud certification

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and program workstreams, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
• Lead delivery of platform features while supporting multiple Scrum teams
• Develop and maintain program charters, plans, budgets, metrics, and reports
• Identify/manage risks, issues, priorities, dependencies across projects
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define scope and success indicators
• Apply Agile or Waterfall methods as needed
• Support DevOps, CI/CD practices
• Partner with software/data teams on end-to-end migrations
• Track costs and quarterly forecasts; manage overall budget
• Communicate status, risks, decisions to leadership
• Maintain program docs and lessons learned
• Mentor junior project managers and PM professionals
• Evaluate training needs to strengthen delivery
• Promote program adoption and organizational value
