Job summary

MasterApp Labs LLC in Lansing, MI seeks a Senior IT Project Manager for a contracted, hybrid role (onsite two days/week). You will lead IT projects in a large enterprise, manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams while ensuring governance and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include planning with Clarity, reporting to executives, and enforcing Change Management and vendor collaboration. MS Teams and in-person engagements are part of the process.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• 8+ years of experience managing projects with budgets greater than $20 million.
• 8+ years of experience managing IT projects within a large, complex enterprise environment.
• 8+ years of experience managing vendors and/or third-party solution providers.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent projects and driving work to successful completion with minimal supervision.
• Experience handling variety of stakeholders and system/ business owners from other departments.
• Experience managing multi-vendor environment in a government environment.
• Experience providing project management services for IT Projects involving Commercial Off the Shelf Technology (COTS).
• Oversee technical teams with system architecture and integration across SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the State of Michigan’s Project Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity) to prepare project schedules, assign resources and manage budgets.
• Prepare information for presentations geared to executives, managers and project team members.
• Monitor, control, and communicate project progress by actively managing cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.
• Communicate with stakeholders on project status using appropriate methods.
• Provide leadership and foster collaborative participation between technical and business teams.
• Manage and communicate interfaces related to other agencies.
• Ensure adherence to Michigan’s methodologies and lifecycle stages.
• Facilitate and enforce Change Management processes when scope, schedule, or budget deviates.
• Ensure project benefits are understood and artifacts updated accordingly.
• Review contracts to manage vendor deliverables and approval procedures.
• Coordinate stakeholder interactions and ensure deliverables are assigned and completed.
