Job summary

Luna Data Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead long-term, high-visibility enterprise software initiatives for a public agency in Austin, TX. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk across cross-functional teams including vendors and business users.

Responsibilities include developing plans, governance, stakeholder communications, and procurement activities while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and technology standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing large-scale enterprise software implementation projects with budgets exceeding $1M.
• Experience leading mission-critical enterprise system implementations such as ERP, CRM, Financial Systems, Human Capital Management, Case Management, Asset Management, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Proven success managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and vendor relationships.
• Experience leading procurement processes and developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Experience participating in vendor evaluation, selection, contract negotiations, and statement of work development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex enterprise software implementation projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and status reporting.
• Establish project governance structures and facilitate executive steering committee meetings.
• Drive project execution and coordinate cross-functional teams including business users, technical staff, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, issue logs, and escalation plans.
• Ensure project alignment with organizational objectives, compliance requirements, and technology standards.
• Manage stakeholder communications across executive leadership, business units, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Lead procurement activities including requirements gathering, RFP development, vendor evaluations, scoring processes, and recommendation documentation.
