Job summary

FOCUSPOINT in Nashville or Dallas seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives within a high-visibility IT portfolio. You will drive delivery, manage financials, and coordinate vendors while communicating with executive stakeholders.

You will independently lead large strategic projects or multi-workstream programs spanning planning, execution, implementation, and closure, with significant IT impact across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT project management experience.
• Experience in enterprise IT PMO or portfolio environment.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication across technical, business, vendor and executive audiences.
• Proven leadership, facilitation, negotiation and decision making.
• Experience managing third party vendors, contractors and professional services.
• Strong scheduling, scope, resources, risks, issues and change management.
• Familiar with Power BI, Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IT projects and multi-workstream programs from initiation to closure.
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies and resources.
• Establish scope, objectives, governance and success criteria.
• Drive execution across technical teams, business stakeholders and vendors.
• Monitor delivery—scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality.
• Identify risks early and implement corrective actions.
• Manage vendor deliverables, schedules, dependencies and financials.
• Own project financials: budgeting, forecasting, tracking, variance analysis and reporting.
• Prepare executive status updates, dashboards and financial summaries.
