Location: Remote

Duration: 12-months to start with strong potential for extension and/or conversion to full-time.

  • Our client, a leading global provider of claims and risk management solutions, is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to support a high-priority global AI transformation initiative within its Enterprise Technology organization.
  • This role will coordinate cross-functional technology workstreams focused on preparing the broader IT environment for enterprise AI adoption. Key areas include infrastructure readiness, software development life cycle (SDLC) modernization, developer tooling, enterprise system integrations, and evolving technology processes.
  • The successful candidate will serve as a central point of coordination across technical teams and international stakeholders, ensuring project plans, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables remain aligned as the organization advances its global transformation. This individual must be comfortable working across complex enterprise IT environments, navigating challenging stakeholder relationships, and coordinating teams across US and UK/EU time zones.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Global Transformation Workstreams: Manage project activities and deliverables across infrastructure, enterprise technology, software development, and operational teams supporting the broader AI transformation.
  • Drive IT Readiness and SDLC Modernization: Coordinate initiatives related to AI-enabled developer tools, software development workflows, testing processes, CI/CD pipelines, and changes to established technology practices.
  • Manage Project Plans and Dependencies: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and action items across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Align International Stakeholders: Coordinate communication, schedules, and deliverables between US-based technical teams and UK/EU stakeholders, accommodating different time zones and working hours.
  • Track Implementation Progress: Use project management tools to monitor deliverables, identify gaps, elevate blockers, and maintain visibility into project status and upcoming milestones.
  • Partner with Technical Teams: Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, development, enterprise applications, and other IT teams to coordinate readiness activities and resolve cross-functional dependencies.
  • Proactively Manage Risks and Issues: Identify potential delivery challenges, challenge assumptions, follow up on outstanding actions, and drive accountability to keep initiatives on track.
  • Provide Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare clear project updates, communicate risks and dependencies, facilitate working sessions, and provide leadership with visibility into progress and outstanding decisions.
  • Support Change and Adoption Activities: Coordinate the implementation of new tools, processes, and technology capabilities while ensuring impacted teams are aligned on timelines and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Technical Project Management experience supporting enterprise IT initiatives, technology transformation, infrastructure, or software delivery.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, infrastructure dependencies, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience coordinating technical initiatives involving multiple IT teams, systems, and interdependent deliverables.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, enterprise technology platforms, and modern software development practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Smartsheet, Azure DevOps (ADO), and ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain detailed project plans, track milestones, manage risks, and drive deliverables to completion.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and international stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate difficult stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive follow-through.
  • Ability to translate complex technical activities into clear project updates for technical teams and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise AI adoption, AI-enabled developer tooling, or technology transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AWS and cloud-enabled enterprise environments.
  • Experience coordinating SDLC modernization, CI/CD improvements, automated testing, or developer productivity initiatives.
  • Experience supporting enterprise system integrations or technology implementation projects.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
Professional Attributes
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on project execution and follow-through.
  • Comfortable coordinating technical teams without needing to be the hands-on technical implementer.
  • Proactive in identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies before they affect delivery.
  • Confident managing difficult stakeholders and driving accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable in a fast-moving global transformation environment with evolving priorities.
  • Strong communicator who can connect technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
