Job description

Duration: 12-month contract to start with strong potential for conversion

  • Our client, a global leader in claims and risk management solutions, is seeking a Senior Technical Agile Systems Analyst for a remote, long-term contract opportunity with strong potential for extension and possible conversion.
  • This role is ideal for a Technical Systems Analyst with strong Business Analysis and Project Management capabilities who can work across multiple technology initiatives, partner with business and technical stakeholders, and help drive projects from requirements through delivery. The right candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
  • The team supports a variety of enterprise technology initiatives that may include HR interfaces, standard flat-file integrations, benefit calculations, statutory/regulatory requirements, reverse file feeds, APIs, system integrations, and other business-critical applications and processes.
  • A strong understanding of Agile delivery, requirements analysis, systems analysis, and software development processes is important. Prior experience supporting an Agile transformation is a significant plus, and experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, translate complex requirements into actionable work for development teams, facilitate collaboration across stakeholders, and take ownership of project-level activities when needed.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed systems analysis, including understanding system functionality, integrations, interfaces, data flows, and downstream impacts.

  • Partner with development and QA teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Support projects involving HR interfaces, flat files, benefit calculations, statutory/regulatory requirements, reverse file feeds, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Facilitate requirements sessions, stakeholder meetings, backlog refinement, working sessions, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Help manage and prioritize backlogs, project deliverables, requirements, and dependencies.
  • Perform business process analysis, workflow mapping, gap analysis, impact assessments, and root cause analysis.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities for process or system improvement.
  • Translate technical concepts and system constraints for business stakeholders and communicate business needs effectively to technical teams.
  • Support sprint planning, release planning, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Participate in and/or coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including requirements clarification, defect resolution, and business signoff.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, system documentation, workflow diagrams, and other project deliverables.
