Job summary

Charles Schwab in the United States is seeking an Senior Manager of IT Product Management to translate banking core and deposit priorities into executable work. You will own and prioritize the team backlog, guiding discovery through delivery with an Agile team to deliver reliable banking capabilities.

You will collaborate with Deposit Product Management, engineers, analysts, and operations, and apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate requirements development and prototyping while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product delivery, business systems analysis, technology delivery, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to own and prioritize an Agile team backlog and translate business needs into epics and stories.
• Experience partnering with engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex needs and convert ambiguity into clear, executable work.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and scaled delivery practices.
• Experience using JIRA, Rally, Confluence, or comparable Agile tools.
• Experience applying AI-enabled development lifecycle practices or AI-assisted tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own, prioritize, and maintain the team backlog in line with strategy and roadmaps.
• Translate features into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Deposit Product Management, stakeholders, and tech teams to clarify needs.
• Lead backlog refinement, PI Planning, reviews, and other Agile activities.
• Provide day-to-day scope and priority decisions to sustain momentum.
• Identify dependencies and risks; coordinate with partner teams.
• Ensure work is ready for development and traceable to outcomes.
• Support testing, deployment readiness, and post-release follow-up.
• Maintain backlog transparency for team members and stakeholders.
• Leverage data and insights to improve requirements and priorities.
• Apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis and delivery.
• Contribute to standard practices and continuous improvement across Bank Platform.
