Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Product Management for the Bank Platform team in Austin. You will translate banking core and deposit priorities into executable work, own the team backlog, and guide delivery from discovery through deployment.

Lead Agile ceremonies, collaborate with Product Management, engineers, and business partners, and ensure readiness for production. You will apply AI-enabled tools responsibly to speed analysis and improve outcomes, driving continuous

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in product ownership, product delivery, or related discipline.
Experience owning and prioritizing an Agile team backlog and translating business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Experience partnering with engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
Ability to analyze complex business and technology needs, identify dependencies, and convert ambiguity into clear, executable work.
Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and scaled delivery practices.
Experience using JIRA, Rally, Confluence, or comparable Agile tools.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, peer leaders, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

Own, prioritize, and maintain the team backlog in alignment with product strategy and delivery commitments.
Translate features and business objectives into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Partner with deposit product management and other teams to clarify needs and inform decisions.
Lead backlog refinement and support planning, PI Planning, reviews, and demos.
Provide timely clarification and manage day-to-day scope and priority decisions.
Identify dependencies, risks, and decision needs; coordinate with partner teams.
Ensure work is ready for development and traceable to outcomes.
Support testing, operations, and business stakeholders for acceptance and production readiness.
Maintain transparency into backlog health and progress.
Use data and feedback to improve requirements and priorities.
Apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, prototyping, and productivity.
