Exelixis, Inc. in Alameda, CA is seeking an Associate Director of IT Product Management for Enterprise Platforms, Finance (SAP). You will lead product strategy, roadmaps, and a high-performing team to deliver cloud-based financial platforms with SAP at the core.

The role collaborates with cross-functional partners, manages vendor relationships, ensures SOX/compliance readiness, and drives adoption, metrics, and continuous improvement across the digital workplace ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT product management or digital workplace leadership roles
• Experience in full lifecycle system development (design, implementation, validation and support) of cloud based solutions and platforms
• Experience in implementing and supporting financial applications within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
• Experience with SAP is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of product strategy and develop actionable product plans and roadmaps.
• Lead a high-performing development and operations team to execute the product and platform roadmap.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and end users to deliver new product features and resolve operational issues.
• Support relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure delivery aligns with platform goals and service levels.
• Oversee the development lifecycle from conceptualization to delivery across products and stakeholders, including security, ongoing support, and user adoption.
• Create and monitor key performance indicators to assess product effectiveness and business value.
• Assist in budget planning and cost management across all products and sub product lines.
• Analyze trends and best practices to identify opportunities for new features and improvements.
• Ensure product releases meet quality standards and compliance requirements (SOX, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
