Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Category Management or Supplier Management, with leadership in technology spend.
• Significant leadership for large Technology spend and supplier portfolios.
• 7+ years of people leadership experience, including building and retaining teams.
• Deep commercial expertise across software/SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, hardware, telecom or consulting.
• Proven success leading high-value strategic negotiations and advising CIO-level executives.
• Ability to translate technology and business strategies into category and supplier actions.
• Strong knowledge of licensing, subscription, consumption and managed services models.
• Experience evaluating total cost of ownership and supplier economics.
• Experience with strategic supplier governance, risk mitigation and escalation.
• Track record delivering substantial financial value while balancing speed and risk.
• Experience leading operating-model changes and cross-functional accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technology’s Strategic Commercial Partner and trusted advisor to the Technology Leadership Team.
• Translate strategy into integrated category, supplier and commercial strategies.
• Connect planning and funding with sourcing pipeline and renewals.
• Evaluate make/buy/partner/exit options early in the process.
• Shape demand and clarify total cost, risk and strategic implications.
• Bring external market intelligence and supplier perspectives into planning.
• Deliver executive recommendations on value, cost and risk.
• Establish Procurement as an extension of Technology leadership.
