Job summary

MPI is seeking a Sr. IT PMO Project Manager to lead cross-functional IT and technology initiatives in Chicago. You will manage scope, schedule and budgets while evolving the PMO with modern templates and processes.

You will drive collaboration between IT Services, Business Systems, field operations and external vendors, applying Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches to fit each project. Strong communication and leadership will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years PMO/project management experience.
• Proven success mentoring PMO staff and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience gathering requirements and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional IT and technology projects from initiation through completion.
• Ensure delivery of scope, schedule and budget for initiatives.
• Develop and maintain PMO artifacts and templates.
• Facilitate collaboration between IT, field operations, corporate teams and vendors.
• Lead meetings, communicate status, risk and issues clearly.
• Manage resources and competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
• Enforce change management, including testing, documentation and readiness.
