Job summary

SHR Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT projects for FEMA NFIP. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery across cloud migration, system integration, and DevSecOps in a SAFe environment.

Remote work is available for DC Metro Area candidates. Requires Public Trust and DHS EOD suitability, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in a Project Manager role leading complex IT projects.
• Ability to solicit and document complex requirements and translate into actionable plans.
• Experience developing WBS and schedules in Microsoft Project for multi-faceted projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle management of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Conduct AoAs and develop COAs with input from technical experts.
• Engage with government customers and stakeholders to elicit and manage requirements.
• Serve as liaison between government managers, the contract PM, and project team.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks using best practices.
• Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and maintain detailed schedules in MS Project.
• Lead Integrated Product Teams and participate in PM meetings and CM Boards.
• Interface with senior government officials and provide executive briefings.
