Job summary

New-Indy Containerboard (NICB) is seeking an ITOT Infrastructure Architect to design, engineer, and evolve enterprise infrastructure across compute, storage, network, and cloud platforms. The role blends hands-on engineering with architectural oversight to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient solutions for 24/7 manufacturing facilities across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in IT or related field or commensurate equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years direct experience in designing and managing enterprise IT infrastructure at a senior level.
• Experience in 24x7 manufacturing environments and in leading SME for major infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to design, deploy and manage on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, with security and reliability as core principles.
• Experience with Active Directory, O365, patch management, ITIL familiarity, governance and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise infrastructure across compute, storage, network, and cloud platforms.
• Lead and mentor multi-site 24/7 IT/OT infrastructure teams across North America.
• Collaborate with Enterprise IT & OT teams to plan capacity and strategy.
• Oversee integration of cloud solutions with on-prem infrastructure for performance and security.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee hardware/software upgrades and audits.
• Ensure security hardening and compliance with enterprise security teams.
