Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr. Make Engineer – Circulatory Restoration to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on leading IT/OT/MES integration, securing plant systems, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance and Vendors to resolve issues, implement changes, and advance manufacturing technology. The position emphasizes lean initiatives and cross-functional teamwork in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electronics, automation or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing IT environment, including 2 years supporting IT/OT/MES applications.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IT/OT integrated architectures on the shop floor.
• Ensure secure connectivity between PLC, SCADA, HMI, MES and corporate IT platforms.
• Define and manage network zones and conduits in alignment with ISA/IEC-62443.
• Lead OT cybersecurity practices including system hardening, patching, and vulnerability management.
• Provide L3 support on IT/OT/MES issues and coordinate with engineering, production, maintenance, and vendors.
• Document incidents, changes, configurations, diagrams, and standard work procedures.
