Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in San Jose is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Specialist II to join the Surgical Robotics manufacturing organization. The role blends catheter assembly with MES/SAP ERP-driven operations, inventory control, and data analysis within a regulated clean-room environment.

You will manage work orders, support production readiness, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve throughput and quality.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in Medical Device Industry and/or catheter assembly.
Experience in clean-room environments and GMP.
Proficiency with Excel for data entry and basic analysis.
Ability to follow MPIs and direction from production management.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

Build and assemble catheter and other medical components following MPI and procedures to meet daily goals.
Monitor production progress, work orders, and metrics; escalate issues.
Maintain production and inventory records and support documentation practices.
Perform material kitting, staging, replenishment, and Kanban activities.
Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, quality, and R&D teams to resolve issues and support new products.
Maintain clean and organized work areas and system documentation.
