Job summary

Axxess is seeking an IT Operations Senior Manager to lead the global IT operations, ensuring secure and efficient systems aligned with business goals. You will guide a team, partner with stakeholders, and drive strategic IT initiatives from our Dallas office.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, vendor management, and a focus on cost-effective procurement and budgeting to support growth. This is an on-site position within a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field required.
• 5+ years IT management with infrastructure and systems administration.
• Experience planning and managing IT projects.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs.
• Experience with enterprise applications and system integrations.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, MCP/MCSE or VMware VCP advantageous.
• Ability to work from Dallas office; not remote.

Responsibilities

• Partner on all aspects of global IT, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
• Provide tiered support to resolve complex IT issues escalated from the helpdesk.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of IT systems to meet SLAs.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Procure IT hardware, software, and services cost-effectively.
• Develop and manage the site's IT budget, monitoring expenditures.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes.
• Develop and execute site IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.

What you will do...

• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Partner on cost effective procurement of global IT hardware, software, and services.
• Partner to develop and manage the site's IT budget, monitoring expenditure and optimizing costs.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes and outcomes.
• Partner to develop and execute site-specific IT strategies and plans aligned with the organization’s overall IT and business objectives.

What you will bring...

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fieldis required. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with significant exposure to infrastructure and systems administration required.
• Experience in planning and managing IT projects.
• Thorough understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Proficiency in managing server and storage environments (Windows/Linux servers, SAN/NAS).
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with enterprise applications and system integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft MCP/MCSE, or VMware VCP are advantageous.
• Ability to work from our Dallas office as this is not a remote role.
