Job summary

Profluent Bio is looking for a Senior IT Operations Engineer to design, deploy, and manage the company’s entire IT infrastructure across Google Workspace, Rippling, Meraki networking, and cloud platforms. You will own onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, security controls, and backup strategies in a fast-growing biotech tech environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in IT operations, hands-on experience with SOC 2 type 2 readiness, and a proven ability to work across Mac/Windows,

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology
• 8+ years in a similar IT Operations role; at least 2-3 years in a high-growth startup or solo environment.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Rippling, and Meraki networks.
• Experience with endpoint protection (SentinelOne) and MFA/VPN security.
• Proven ability to manage IT across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage the company’s entire IT infrastructure.
• Administer Google Workspace, Rippling, MDM, and VPN/MFA security.
• Oversee Meraki network, Synology NAS storage, backups, and DR procedures.
• Lead workstation imaging, asset management, and software licensing.
• Support SOC 2 type 2 efforts and security controls.
