Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Operation Engineer responsible for managing IT services, overseeing operations, and handling onboarding and offboarding processes. The role requires technical expertise, operational efficiency, and excellent IT service delivery to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage IT hardware assets, including procurement, inventory, lifecycle, and decommissioning.
2. Ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
3. Handle onboarding and offboarding for employees, including account setup and access management.
4. Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
5. Develop and implement IT operational best practices, ensuring policy and industry standard compliance.
6. Collaborate with HR, IT Security, and other teams to improve IT processes and user experience.
7. Manage vendor relationships for procurement, service agreements, and maintenance.
8. Maintain accurate IT asset records and operational reports.
9. Ensure IT systems and processes comply with security policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in IT operations or service delivery roles.
• Knowledge of IT asset management, ITSM, and best practices.
• Experience with onboarding/offboarding and identity/access tools.
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, networking, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• ITIL certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a global IT environment.
• Knowledge of automation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace).

Location: California

The salary range is $122,400 - $255,600 per year, with additional benefits such as sign-on bonuses, relocation packages, and stock units.
