Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale technology migration programs spanning endpoints, network infrastructure, and IT services. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, and 12+ years experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience in enterprise IT infrastructure or technology transformation.
• Experience leading large-scale endpoint, network, infrastructure, workplace technology, or similar migration programs.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and geographically distributed environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure including endpoints, networking, identity, security, infrastructure, cloud, and IT operations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage detailed project plans, migration schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource plans.
• Experience with complex cutovers, deployment waves, go/no-go decisions, and rollback planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with standard project management methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of endpoint and network migration programs from strategy through handoff.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resources.
• Coordinate multiple technical workstreams including endpoint/network engineering, infrastructure, security and vendors.
• Establish migration waves, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and post-migration validation processes.
• Manage migrations involving large populations of users, devices, offices, sites, applications, and infrastructure components.
• Drive execution across geographically distributed locations and time zones.
• Identify dependencies and resolve risks and issues that could impact timelines or operations.
• Establish and manage project governance, status reporting, RAID logs, and executive communications.
• Partner with technical leads to ensure migration designs, testing strategies, and operational procedures are mature before deployment.
• Coordinate change management and communications for migration events.
• Manage vendor and third-party deliverables, schedules, and costs where applicable.
• Track project financials, resource requirements, procurement needs, and vendor costs.
• Lead cutover and command-center activities for high-risk events.
• Monitor migration performance and operational metrics, including progress and incidents.
• Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer to operational support teams after each wave.
• Escalate critical risks and decisions with clear recommendations to senior leadership.
• Continuously improve migration processes, templates, governance, and execution methods.
