Job summary

Leidos is seeking a senior network transport solutions engineer to lead planning, design, integration, and fielding of enterprise network transport solutions. You will coordinate across multiple sites, vendors, and disciplines, providing technical direction and mentoring to engineers.

The role emphasizes lifecycle management, testing, validation, and operational transition, with heavy engagement across network operations, cybersecurity, and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8–12 years of relevant experience, or master’s with 6–10 years.
• Progressive engineering experience in enterprise routing, switching, LAN/WAN, data center networking, or related discipline.
• Experience leading technical execution of complex projects across multiple technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and execution of network transport projects and workstreams.
• Coordinate engineering activities across sites, vendors, and domains.
• Provide technical direction, review engineering work, and resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, or performance.
• Translate requirements into system and interface requirements; manage risk and budgeting.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, testing, and lab validation.
• Support transition to operations with documentation, training, and procedures.
