Job summary

LeoForce in Logansport, IN is seeking an IT MES Specialist at senior level to lead and optimize the Manufacturing Execution System across production. You will configure, maintain, and integrate MES with PLCs, SCADA, and enterprise systems while ensuring data integrity and system security.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS/IT or related field, 5–10 years in MES or manufacturing IT, strong C# and SQL skills, and hands‑on experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Firebird.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of database systems (Oracle, Firebird, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Experience with C# or a comparable object‑oriented language.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; proactive communication.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• 5–10 years in MES, IT, or manufacturing systems; manufacturing environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and customize MES to support evolving production requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues affecting MES.
• Set up and maintain product routing within MES.
• Ensure accurate data collection and analysis for performance metrics.
• Monitor system performance, security, and stability; apply patches/updates.
• Collaborate with IT and Production to integrate MES with external equipment and enterprise systems.
• Create and maintain documentation of system designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Lead IT projects from conception through completion, including planning and post‑project docs.
