Job summary

LeoForce in Logansport, IN is seeking an IT MES Specialist at senior level to lead and optimize the Manufacturing Execution System across production. You will configure, maintain, and integrate MES with PLCs, SCADA, and enterprise systems while ensuring data integrity and system security.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS/IT or related field, 5–10 years in MES or manufacturing IT, strong C# and SQL skills, and hands‑on experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Firebird.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of database systems (Oracle, Firebird, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Experience with C# or a comparable object‑oriented language.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; proactive communication.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• 5–10 years in MES, IT, or manufacturing systems; manufacturing environment experience.

• Set up and maintain product routing within the MES environment

• Monitor system performance, security, and stability; perform routine maintenance and apply patches/updates
• Collaborate with IT and Production teams to integrate MES with external equipment, PLCs, SCADA systems, and enterprise systems
• Create and maintain thorough documentation of system designs, configurations, and procedures
• Lead IT projects from conception through completion, including planning, execution, and post-project documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of database systems (Oracle, Firebird, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and SQL for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with C# or a comparable object-oriented programming language
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and communicate concerns
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and track multiple concurrent projects to completion
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in an MES, IT, or manufacturing systems role
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment

Candidates must speak Mandaring Chinese to be considered for the role.
