Job summary

Qualifications

• Nine years IT experience across infra, cyber, apps, with at least 3 years in supervision.
• Associate degree in IT, CS, MIS or related field.
• Eight years IT experience across listed areas with at least two years in supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, MIS or related field.
• Seven years IT experience with at least one year in supervision.
• Master’s degree in IT, CS, MIS or related field.
• Five years IT experience with at least one year in supervision.
• Six years in Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office ISD with at least one year in supervision. Substitutions with advanced certs possible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT staff and direct activities of subordinates; assign, monitor, and review work; evaluate performance; initiate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Develop and enforce department‑wide IT policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Oversee system performance and address high‑impact issues to ensure continuity of critical IT services.
• Manage applications, servers, and databases to meet evolving business needs; provide system and database administration.
• Direct the evaluation, selection, and implementation of CJIS‑related technologies.
• Design and implement custom software solutions tailored to internal needs.
• Coordinate planning and maintenance of physical infrastructure and data centers.
