Job summary

Imperative Logistics Group is seeking a Technical Support & Infrastructure Manager to oversee IT infrastructure, security, and end‑user support across locations. You will lead the team responsible for maintaining uptime, performance, and cyber resilience while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires a strong background in networking, servers, virtualization, cloud/hybrid environments, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and support roles.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management position.
• Strong knowledge of: Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, routing/switching) Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Virtualization (VMware / Hyper‑V), Backup, DR, and monitoring tools. Experience supporting multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud and data centers.
• Lead the Helpdesk / Technical Support team providing Tier 1–3 support and manage SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives and enforce security policies, access controls, patching, endpoint protection, and monitoring.
• Manage relationships with MSPs, ISPs, telecom providers, hardware/software vendors; negotiate contracts and budgets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure and support staff; conduct performance reviews and skill development.
• Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and modernization in IT infrastructure and processes.
