Job summary

JSR Tech Consulting seeks a program manager to join the SDP team supporting remediation of EOL IT infrastructure, vulnerability remediation, compliance, modernization, and process improvements for a major investment firm. Location is fully remote or Newark, NJ.

As part of SDP, you will oversee medium to large IT infrastructure projects, coordinate across business units, manage risks, and drive solutions that align with budget and schedule. PMP/CSM credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in managing multiple medium-to-large scale IT Infrastructure projects in financial services.
• Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills; good consensus builder.
• Outstanding collaborative skills across organizational levels and cultures.
• Ability to develop and leverage relationships.
• Strong drive for results and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fluid environment.
• Capable of executing short-term and long-term plans.
• Excellent customer focus; managing matrix relationships.
• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Time-management, leadership, and people skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with ambiguity.
• PMP or CSM certifications is a plus.
• Experience in Vulnerability Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned set of medium to large scale IT Infrastructure projects.
• Conduct application architecture assessments and define solutions for complex problems.
• Design, customize and execute migration workflows.
• Maintain focus on project risks and interdependencies; plan contingencies for budget, schedule, and scope.
• Engage cross-functional stakeholders for problem solving and risk mitigation.
• Drive results and resolve issues, with course corrections as needed.
• Display strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Show initiative and address issues without prompting.
• Assist in preparing presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across organizations to overcome obstacles.
