Job summary

Alliant is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to partner with IT, Finance, and Accounting, delivering budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the IT portfolio. Use ServiceNow SPM to track costs and drive financial visibility across projects and programs.

The role requires 5+ years in FP&A with IT experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement. Collaborative and detail-oriented team member needed for dynamic IT finance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A experience.
• Experience supporting Information Technology organizations or technology portfolios.
• Hands-on experience using ServiceNow, with exposure to Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual IT portfolio budgeting and long-range planning, including assumptions and executive presentation.
• Perform month-, quarter-, and year-end financial analysis with narrative of numbers.
• Track and reconcile financial activity by project and portfolio in ServiceNow SPM.
• Partner with project managers and operations to improve financial visibility of investments.
• Construct moderate to complex financial models to analyze initiatives.
• Prepare and analyze IT Utilization reports for business units via ServiceNow.
• Ensure integrity of financial systems used for analysis with Accounting.
• Identify areas for process improvement and reduce error rates.
• Review IT expenses for proper coding.
