Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services in Irvine, CA is seeking an FP&A professional to partner with IT, Finance, and Accounting teams. You will budget, forecast, report, and analyze project costs using ServiceNow SPM to track IT investments across portfolios.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and 5+ years in FP&A, preferably with IT/technology portfolios, and strong Excel skills. Experience with ServiceNow is a plus; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of FP&A experience
• Experience supporting Information Technology organizations or technology portfolios
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and consolidate IT portfolio budgeting and long-range planning processes, including assumptions and executive presentations
• Perform month/quarter/year-end financial analysis and explain the narrative behind the numbers
• Track and reconcile financial activity by project and portfolio in ServiceNow SPM
• Partner with project managers to improve financial visibility into investments and outcomes
• Develop moderate to complex financial models to analyze initiatives
• Prepare IT utilization reports for business units via ServiceNow
• Maintain integrity of financial systems used for analysis with Accounting
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce errors and increase productivity
• Complete special projects to support corporate objectives
• Review IT expenses to ensure accurate coding
