Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a Lead Analyst, IT Financial Crime to bridge business needs and technical solutions. You will create detailed requirements for functional and nonfunctional areas, validate test cases, and gather information from multiple sources to make informed recommendations.

You will lead small to medium projects, collaborate with UX to prototype requirements, and apply risk and change management practices in a hybrid work environment. Strong AML vendor experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years in financial services as a business analyst.
• 5 years in requirements gathering, issue tracking, change management.
• 3 years working with AWS cloud.
• 3 years in data analysis with Excel, SQL, Unix, Python.
• 3 years with KYC/CDD/EDD processes.
• Experience supporting AML vendor software (Mantas, NICE Actimize, Hummingbird).

Responsibilities

• Creates detailed business requirements for functional and nonfunctional capabilities.
• Validates test cases to ensure scripts evaluate the business function.
• Gathers and interprets information from multiple sources and makes recommendations.
• Documents business processes to support application development teams.
• Translates technical concepts to business audience and vice versa.
• May lead estimates and implementation plans for technical solutions.
• Partners to develop project schedules, reports and documentation.
• May act as project lead on small to mid projects and guide others.
• Works with UX/Design to visualize requirements into prototypes.
• Applies risk management, issue tracking and change management principles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
