Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to partner with the Cash Management development team in St. Petersburg, FL.

The role focuses on writing system requirements to ensure technology solutions meet business needs across account interfaces, bank deposits, money sweeps, and related cash processes. The position emphasizes SDLC expertise, data analysis, and collaboration with IT, business operations, and design resources.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant technical business analysis or technical analysis experience.
• Financial services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Sweep accounts, high yield savings, and interest accrual processing.
• Extensive hands-on experience testing IT applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

Responsibilities

• Creates detailed business requirements for functional and non-functional capabilities.
• Gathers and interprets information from multiple sources and makes recommendations.
• Provides support for application development teams, including documenting processes.
• Translates technical concepts to business audiences and vice versa.
• May lead small to medium projects and guide others on the team.
• Develops project schedules, reports and documentation for stakeholders.
• Collaborates with UX/Design to visualize requirements into prototypes.
• Applies risk management, issue tracking and change management principles.
• Validates test cases to ensure scripts test the intended business function.
