HX5, LLC is seeking an IT Specialist to support the GEARS contract at NASA Glenn Research Center in Brook Park, Ohio. The role focuses on equipment calibration management and IT security, ensuring compliance and documentation across safety-related systems.

The candidate will coordinate calibration services, maintain EHRS records, and perform risk assessments for a range of health and safety equipment, while collaborating with IT, security personnel, and program managers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 5–10+ years of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma with 20+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate calibration and repair services for Safety and Health Division equipment and instruments, including RMAs.
• Upload calibration docs to the GRC Metrology website and maintain records.
• Maintain EHRS equipment module data and other electronic records.
• Develop risk assessments for occupational health equipment and recommend replacements.
• Maintain security configurations for GRC SMA network shares and access controls.
• Update and track compliance for the IT Security Plan and offline computers.
• Prepare monthly reports on progress, issues, and delays related to IT Security.
