Job summary

Fusion HCR is seeking a Senior Engineer – IT to lead application development and integration for a premier gaming and hospitality organization. You will work with cross-functional teams on value-driven projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure secure, reliable systems.

This role requires strong technical leadership, design and documentation, adherence to SDLC, and the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders. Nevada gaming regulatory knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration or equivalent license required.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 4+ years of experience in full SDLC and Java/Microsoft tech stack.
• 3+ years in Object-Oriented Design and common patterns.
• 2+ years in data modeling and UDM/UML.
• Experience with version control tools (Git/SVN/VSS/TFS).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (JIRA, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in applying effective processes and continuous capability development.
• Perform code reviews to ensure secure, high-quality software.
• Develop, test, install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs with IT Architecture guidance.
• Mentor IT Engineers and share knowledge across teams.
• Ensure secure, reliable system implementations within project parameters.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and validation of defects and issues.
• Communicate complex information to non-technical audiences.
