Job summary

Hydraulic Controls, Inc. seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead a five-person IT team across the Western United States.

This hands-on leadership role combines strategic technology direction with active management of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems. You will own the technology roadmap, drive vendor relationships (including TrulinX ERP), ensure compliance with CMMC/NIST 800-171, and oversee AI security use while aligning IT with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience including leading IT teams or initiatives.
• Broad hands-on experience across enterprise infrastructure, networks, cloud, and security.
• Experience with cybersecurity/compliance programs (CMMC/NIST 800-171) is preferred.
• Experience managing technical employees, vendors, and MSPs.
• Experience owning or supporting an ERP or enterprise system (TrulinX helpful).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise IT strategy, roadmap, budget, and priorities.
• Lead and develop a five-person IT team with strong service standards and accountability.
• Provide hands-on leadership across infrastructure, networks, cloud, MS 365, IAM, endpoints, backups, and DR.
• Direct cybersecurity program to maintain CMMC/NIST 800-171 compliance and audits.
• Own relationships with ERP/enterprise systems and lead upgrades and modernization.
• Guide secure use of AI and manage technology vendors and service providers.
