Job summary

New Charter is seeking a Technical Consultant to deliver advanced IT support and strategic technology guidance for Managed Services clients in Boulder, CO. The role involves regular travel to local client locations and mentoring engineers across the team.

You will diagnose complex issues, advise on technology strategies, and ensure client satisfaction through thorough resolutions and clear communication. A strong background in IT infrastructure and cloud solutions is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues across diverse environments.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft platforms (M365, AD) and Windows versions.
• Demonstrate strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Understand cloud and virtualization (Azure, AWS, VMware).
• Maintain security best practices (firewalls, phishing, malware).
• Mentor and support junior engineers on complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive IT support from break-fix to advanced resolutions.
• Build trusted client relationships by understanding business needs and environments.
• Advise on technology strategy to align with client goals.
• Serve as escalation point for engineers and own complex issues through resolution.
• Manage tickets and client documentation per internal standards.
• Respond to requests within SLAs and ensure full resolution on follow-up.
