Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist (IT, Network & Cloud) to bridge technical needs with legal and financial compliance. You will oversee procurement, SLAs, and licensing models across data centers, cloud infra, and enterprise software.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT procurement or contracts, a business or IT degree, and hands-on CLM experience. You will work with cross-functional leaders to optimize spend, manage risk, and scale our IT footprint in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT procurement, vendor management, or legal contract administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, or related field.
• Deep understanding of cloud hierarchy (Public vs. Private), virtualization, and network security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms and enterprise ERP tools like SAP or Oracle.
• Solid understanding of Intellectual Property (IP) rights, liability limitations, and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts from engineering teams into clear, business-driven terms for executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and negotiate complex SLAs, focusing on uptime, latency, and MTTR.
• Manage the transition from legacy perpetual licenses to subscription-based cloud models (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Ensure vendor agreements comply with GDPR, CCPA, SOC2 and internal security standards.
• Monitor cloud consumption to eliminate unused licenses or inactive instances.
• Oversee contract timelines and co-terminous renewal structures.
• Enforce SLA compliance and negotiate credits when vendors fail to meet commitments.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware assets and software licenses.
