Job summary

Nova Southwestern University in Las Vegas seeks an experienced advanced technical support specialist to assist students, faculty and staff via phone, chat, email, remote sessions, and desk side visits. The role leads the team in the manager’s absence and ensures timely issue resolution.

The position covers installation, maintenance, repairs, and escalation handling for desktops, laptops, AV systems, servers, and networks, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 completed credit hours required.
• Advanced troubleshooting in enterprise environments is required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field and 1 year experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced installation and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Perform root-cause analysis of technology issues onsite and remotely.
• Lead team for installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Coordinate support across facilities including classrooms, offices, and clinics.
• Log, track, and resolve technology tickets; build knowledge base articles.
