Job summary

Axis Max Life Insurance Limited is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our IT and Operations teams in the United States. The role focuses on gathering requirements, translating them into system specifications, and creating use cases to cover user interactions.

You will analyze current processes, validate designs with stakeholders, create BRD/FSD documents, and drive UAT, training, and post-implementation support. Strong communication and SDLC/Agile knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology and preferred professional qualification.
• Must have knowledge of Ingenium and experience in systems analysis.
• Must have 7-15 years in Insurance.
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participating in Evaluation of requirements.
• Works closely with stakeholders to translate objectives into system specifications and create use cases.
• Create use cases that illustrate user interactions with the system.
• Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and processes, identifying risks and mitigations.
• Facilitate sessions to validate designs with users and integrate feedback.
• Participate in design review meetings to ensure solutions align with business needs.
• Create and maintain documentation including BRD and FSD.
• Design new processes aligning with business goals, incorporating best practices and compliance.
• Automating workflows to minimize delays and bottlenecks.
• Preparation/Review BRD and FSD
• BR & CR writing and FSD review
• Testing functionalities and UAT management
• Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and validate system functionality
• Knowledge transfer and repository management
• Conduct training for end-users
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting
• Collect feedback post-implementation to identify improvements
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements
• Adherence to project calendar and liaising between business and IT
• Product launch requirements handling and go-live before hit date
• Support project managers in planning and execution
• Monitor project progress and timelines
• Provide ongoing support and clarification of requirements
