Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a data/BI professional to support Power BI requests and manufacturing automation initiatives. You will perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling, and create dashboards to help understand business performance.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and document business needs. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in information systems or CS, 2–4 years of experience, and familiarity with Power BI, SQL databases, Python,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or CS preferred.
• 2–4 years of industry experience.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
• ERP experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of ETL tools - SSIS, Fabric/Azure Data Factory.
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL Databases.
• Data modeling in Power BI.
• Knowledge of web app frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of Python (or other scripting / OO languages) and JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of cloud storage with Azure.

Responsibilities

• Support Power BI requests, including support of the program management and technical configuration.
• Support manufacturing automation initiatives.
• Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling.
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
• Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents.
• Identify automation opportunities.
• Assist with project management for selected projects.
• Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand business performance.
