Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a data analytics focused professional to support Power BI development and manufacturing analytics from Downers Grove, IL. You will create reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand business performance and help automate data workflows.

Responsibilities include data discovery, requirements validation with stakeholders, and collaboration with global IT. Onsite work arrangement with eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science.
• 2 to 4 years of industry experience.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
• Manufacturing company experience a plus.
• ERP experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of ETL tools - SSIS, Fabric/Azure Data Factory.
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL Databases.
• Data modeling in Power BI.
• Knowledge of web app frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of Python (or other scripting / object-oriented programming languages) and JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of cloud storage with Azure.

Responsibilities

• Support Power BI requests, including support of the program management and technical configuration
• Support manufacturing automation initiatives
• Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents
• Identify automation opportunities
• Assist with project management for selected projects
• Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand business performance
