Job summary
Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to help translate business needs into requirements for Washington's One Washington and Workday transition. You will analyze current processes, identify changes, and collaborate with financial and technical teams to deliver clear specifications for developers.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in information technology or related field with five years of IT experience.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology with seven years of IT experience.
- Associate degree in information technology with nine years of IT experience.
- Eleven years of professional IT experience.
- Four years of experience with financial applications (AP, AR, purchasing, asset management, GL, budgeting).
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial processes, business needs, and system impacts.
- Gather, document, validate, and prioritize requirements.
- Facilitate discussions with business and technical teams.
- Map workflows and compare current processes with Workday capabilities.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with developers, testers, and business partners.
- Support test planning, user acceptance testing, and defect analysis.
- Track requirements, deliverables, and project issues.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
