Job summary

BigID is seeking a Senior IT Operations Engineer in the EST time zone to lead automation across AWS, GCP, Okta, and AI tooling with CI/CD and infrastructure as code. You will own integrations, security-focused workflows, and cross-team automation initiatives.

You’ll work with Security, R&D, People, Support, Engineering, and GTM teams to design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable IT processes and tools.

Qualifications

7+ years in IT operations, DevOps, cloud engineering, or IAM engineering.
Hands-on Okta administration and Workflows experience.
Experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront) and GCP IAM/BigQuery.
Experience building integrations with iPaaS like Workato.
Proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js; REST APIs and webhooks.
IaC with Terraform or Pulumi; GitLab CI/CD
Familiarity with Claude or comparable LLM tools; MCP servers.
Cloudflare DNS/certs; Google Workspace administration
Strong English, excellent documentation; security-minded.
Discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

Own automation in AWS and GCP defined as code and deployed via GitLab CI/CD.
Own Okta Workflows, Workato, REST APIs, webhooks; integrate Salesforce/SaaS tools.
Develop Python/Go scripts and support data access across tools and data sources.
Lead Claude rollout, connectors, and security considerations across teams.
Manage IAM, MFA, SCIM, RBAC, and DNS/email authentication in Cloudflare.
Document processes, maintain inventory, and coordinate vendor relationships.
Provide Tier 2/3 support and troubleshoot Windows/macOS endpoints.
