Job summary

Abridge is seeking a Staff IT Engineer to lead automation across the corporate IT infrastructure and enterprise ecosystem. You will design, build, and maintain scalable automation that reduces manual work, strengthens security, and improves employee experiences globally.

Mentors junior engineers and collaborates with IT leadership to enforce governance. You will work at the intersection of healthcare AI and enterprise IT, shaping automation standards in a HIPAA-compliant environment and driving

Qualifications

10+ years in IT Engineering, IT Apps Development, or DevOps.
Cloud: GCP, AWS, or Azure; IaC (Terraform).
Proficient in at least one modern language; Python preferred.
REST/GraphQL APIs; relational DBs (SQL).
Automation platforms for enterprise IT environments.

Responsibilities

Develop scalable automation to streamline onboarding/offboarding, access requests, security compliance, and self-service IT support.
Build and maintain API integrations and event-driven connections between systems.
Automate IAM with least-privilege policies and audit-ready logging.
Design data platforms for IT reporting, audits, and analytics.
Lead engineering best practices, code reviews, and architecture docs.
Own deployment and lifecycle management of business systems and custom apps.
