Job summary
Coinbase is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer on the IT Tooling team to own the technical architecture behind automations powering IT operations across n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Jira and Okta. You will drive architectural decisions, design scalable frameworks, and deliver end-to-end automation projects.

Qualifications
- 5+ years in IT engineering, automation, or systems engineering with ownership of architecture decisions
- Deep expertise building automations with n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Jira Automation, or Workato with Git-based workflows
- Knowledge of Okta, Slack API, and Google Workspace administration for scalable automation design
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and translate problems into specs
- Experience mentoring peers and writing technical design documentation
Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture of IT Tooling automations across n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Jira
- Lead complex automation projects end-to-end as technical DRI from discovery to production
- Collaborate with Security, Corporate Engineering, and IAM to resolve blockers and contribute to cross-functional discussions
- Build shared frameworks, reusable components, and architecture documentation to raise reliability
- Establish code review practices and engineering standards across the IT Tooling platform
