Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to own the technical architecture behind IT Tooling automations that power daily IT operations. You’ll build self-service workflows, bots, and integrations used by employees across the company.

You will drive architecture decisions across n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Jira, and Okta, partnering with regional IT teams to deliver high-impact automation at scale. This role emphasizes independent problem solving and strong documentation, with opportunities

Qualifications

5+ years in IT engineering, automation, or systems engineering with architecture ownership.
Experience building and maintaining complex automations across modern platforms.
Ability to design secure, scalable automation architectures and document decisions.

Responsibilities

Own the technical architecture of IT Tooling automations across n8n, Airflow, Temporal, and Jira.
Lead complex automation projects end-to-end as technical DRI from discovery to production.
Collaborate with Security, Corporate Engineering, and IAM to resolve blockers and align on architecture decisions.
Build reusable frameworks and documentation to reduce single points of failure and raise engineering standards.
Establish code review practices and improve quality across the IT Tooling platform.
